Imam Hasan Center Canberra is an educational, cultural, not for profit and charitable association. It’s objectives are to provide a platform for Shia Muslim-Ithna Ashari followers in ACT to celebrate and commemorate all important events in
the Islamic calendar. The association envisage to develop a community center which could serve the ongoing social, spiritual, educational, welfare and religious needs of the ACT Shia Muslim Isna-Ashari community.

Canberra was named after the First grandson of the Holy Prophet Muhammad S.A.A.W. and was established on 20th June 2016 (14th Ramzaan), coinciding with the Celebration of Wiladat of Imam Hasan A.S.

About Aliwalay
In the wake of global technological advancement, the international institutions are striving for excellence to achieve their set goals. The use of computers has become inevitable in all fields of life particularly, it has contributed much in the advancements of academic parameters. Through this technological expansion, distance learning has contributed positively in spreading the knowledge and fulfilling the religious needs of the masses using the technology. Based on distance learning, Aliwalay Quran Online Institute has been launched to spread the Islamic and Science teachings across the world Muslim children and youth in the West have been influenced significantly by the western society. It has ultimately changed the Islamic values and traditions at large scale. Although parents have been trying on their own to inculcate Islamic values and morals to the children, it has not been quite fruitful because of less time and professional expertise in this regard. Moreover, a severe lack of qualified teachers has been adding insult to the injury.
With an aim to augment parents’ efforts by pacifying the limitations being encountered, Aliwalay institute was initiated as an online platform in June 2015. Ever since, it has been addressing the problems in this area and helping parents to manage qualified, professional and competent teachers for grade learning and expertise of knowledge dissemination. Aliwalay Quran provides online classes both in “one-to-one” and “group” format (group Classes will start soon).
All the courses of Aliwalay Quran Institute are designed by “Curriculum Board”, comprising of scholars from All Around the World, after through research and considering the needs of today’s world. We offer reliable and authentic Islamic courses for Islamic Teachings and Quranic Learning. Our Curriculum Board focuses on easy and proven online method to teach the Holy Quran. Lessons can be taken anywhere such as in the office, at home and at a time of your own choice. Our distance learning program utilizes state of the art online learning tools and combines both traditional and modern methods of teaching.
